Haxey Quays is 5 acres of peaceful & beautiful waterfront land, with the River Idle running along our northern boundary.
The site is an ideal location for Caravan Rallies and casual camping on our Camping and Caravan Club Certified five van site. We can take rallies of up to 100 caravans on our main field and a further 400 caravans on our second field.
Haxey Quays is also suitable for other outdoor events, such as marquee weddings, birthday celebrations, country fairs & festivals and a variety of other country pursuit events and promotions.
We are fortunate to have adjacent, a great country pub “The Haxey Gate Inn” with good real ales and excellent food all at sensible prices! For those of you that enjoy golf there is a challenging golf course and a well managed driving range and golf pro shop too.
Fancy a spot of fishing? ............... well, we have over a mile of riverfront with excellent fishing to be had on the riverbank ........ it is not unknown to land fish of in excess of 20lbs ( see photos ) N.B. Fishing is free if you are camping with us.
There is also now a slipway and a mooring point so if you would like to bring along your canoe or dinghy ........... feel free!
